About Us

Pepperwood Riding Center is privately owned and operated by Gina Economou.
Gina started to ride almost before she could walk. Riding has always been a
passion, and now for the last 20 years, she has been able to make it her career.
Pepperwood Riding Center was started by her mother Maria, as a place where
people could come and learn how to ride and compete in a friendly and family
environment, stressing the importance of good horsemanship, strong basics, and
a common love and respect for horses.

Adrienne Moore, DVM, is our resident chiropractor. At PRC, we do our best to
make sure that every horse, from beginner novice to advanced, is kept in top
physical condition. Adrienne is a key part of that success. She makes sure that
our equine athletes are comfortable and prepared to perform to the best of their
ability.
Gina started her show career in the jumper arena, competing on the West and East Coast through the Junior Jumpers. In 1986 Gina was introduced to eventing, and continued to progress through the levels. Now competing at the Advanced level, Gina and her horse AirTyme completed the CCI*** at Fair Hill in Maryland in 2003. In 2004, Gina rode Tally Chang's Tambo Unico to an 11th place finish at the F.E.I. World Cup Qualifier CiC*** at Galway Downs. That same year, Gina was named to the USEF Developing Rider Program
