Cooley By Design — "Richie"
Richie is a 2012 Zangersheide gelding by Plot Blue (KWPN) and out of Uthree Z (Zangersheide), by Udarco van Overis (BWP). Formally (and formerly) known as Pinot Grigio van Overis Z, Richie was imported in 2018 by Ryan Wood before Gina purchased him in late 2019.
Gina has been competing Richie successfully in the 1.40m jumpers as well as in Advanced/4* eventing.
Richie's favorite treat is Otter Pops, and his favorite flavor is green!
Retired Horses
Calidore — "Leo"
Leo is owned by Samantha Burkhart. Gina and Leo competed successfully to the 4* level in eventing and in the 1.45m Grand Prix jumpers.
Leo is currently retired and teaching a young rider the ropes at the lower levels of jumpers!
Exclusive — "Linus"
Gina owns Linus and competed successfully with him to the 4* level in eventing.
Patch In Time — "Patch"
Gina owned Patch and competed successfully with him to the Advanced level and the last traditional long format event in Fair Hill in Maryland in 2003. Patch was Gina's first true upper level horse.
Patch also competed to the Prelim level with long time client and friend Katie Perkins (now Moore).
Tuff Stuff Bailey — "Coco"
Gina owned Coco, a foundation bred Quarter Horse — technically her first jumper who kicked off her career. They competed successfully through 1.20m jumpers, then he became her first event horse competing through Training level. Coco also taught numerous students, taking many riders from their first rides to their first shows.
